Gold Terra Reports Positive Assay Results from Yellowknife Drilling Program
Gold Terra Resource Corp has released promising assay results from its Winter Drill Program in the Yellorex zone near the historic Con Mine, Yellowknife. Significant results include drill hole GTY26-001, showing 8.20 g/t gold over 20.35 metres. This program aims to confirm and expand Gold Terra's 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate on the Con Mine Option property.
The drilling targets the Campbell Shear structure, which historically produced over 5 million ounces of high-grade gold. Under an agreement with Newmont Corporation, Gold Terra holds the option to acquire 100% of the property until November 2027. The program includes 23 holes over 8,000 metres so far.
The technical team, led by Joseph Campbell, reports progress on the updated Mineral Resource Estimate. The Yellorex area remains a priority, with additional ounces potentially added between surface and 700 metres depth.
