Golden Minerals Announces Sand Canyon Joint Venture

Golden Minerals Company has established Sand Canyon Explorations LLC, a joint venture with Golden Gryphon USA, Inc. This new entity aims to advance mining claims in Humboldt County, Nevada. Golden holds a 60% ownership stake and will manage the joint venture, while Golden Gryphon holds the remaining 40% interest.

The exploration program for 2026 focuses on enhancing geological understanding and evaluating the area's potential. Sand Canyon is located near the historic Sleeper Gold Mine and features epithermal veins in Miocene volcanics and trace element anomalies.

Initial drilling in 2020 identified geochemical anomalies but no significant concentrations of precious metals. Further exploration activities, including geophysical surveys, are planned over the next year.
