Algo Grande Advances Adelita Copper Project with 8,000-Meter Drilling Initiative
Algo Grande Copper is advancing its Adelita project in Sonora through an extensive 8,000-meter drilling program, marking a strategic shift from isolated target exploration to a comprehensive district-level campaign. Partnering with Major Drilling Group International, the initiative focuses on high-grade zones around the Cerro Grande target and other promising areas within the project's expansive mineralized system.
Preparatory measures on site include constructing access roads and 30 drill pads. These efforts are integral to the project's aim of testing multiple targets rapidly. Additionally, Algo Grande seeks to verify and delineate high-grade copper mineralization along a six-kilometer limestone corridor, central to the project's future exploration activities.
Concurrent with these developments, an exploration update highlights completed and ongoing surveys aimed at refining geological insights. A comprehensive LiDAR survey is concluded, while a drone-based magnetic survey is pending completion. The integration of these datasets will guide the selection of final drill targets, with operations commencing in May.
