Grid Metals Secures TSXV Approval for Thompson East Project
Grid Metals Corp. has announced the receipt of conditional approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for its transaction with Boliden Mineral Canada Ltd. This agreement concerns the Thompson East Project in Northern Manitoba. The deal permits Boliden to acquire an 80% interest in the project by committing to expenditures totaling CAD$9.6 million alongside staged cash payments totaling CAD$500,000 to Grid Metals.
With TSXV's approval, Grid is set to receive an immediate cash payment of CAD$200,000. This transaction marks a significant step for Grid Metals in advancing its mining operations and potential resource development in the region.
The deal involves certain risks, including fluctuations in metal prices and capital costs, but represents a strategic collaboration between Grid Metals and Boliden to explore the economic potential of the Thompson East Project.
