GROUPAUTO International Secures Softeca: A Leap in Digital Automotive Aftermarket

GROUPAUTO International (GAI) announced its acquisition of Softeca, completing the integration with the Burgos-based software developer. This development strengthens GAI's push towards digital transformation within the automotive aftermarket sector.

Initially holding a 33% stake since 2022, GAI now gains full ownership. This move brings stability and independence from third parties and accelerates the development of GAI's systems. The acquisition aligns with GAI's strategy to enhance the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) and expand globally beyond Europe.

Softeca, a key partner in developing GAI's modular platform GNM Systems and tools like the GPS rebate application, will now focus on enhancing the GROUPAUTO digital ecosystem, supported by investment in AI and advanced technologies.
