ONBERG Launches Joint Venture for Drone Defense in Brandenburg

ONBERG Autonomous Systems, a joint venture between HD Advanced Technologies and Ondas Autonomous Systems, has commenced operations at the Heidelberg site in Brandenburg an der Havel. This new venture aims to create an integrated, one-stop solution for drone defense, crucial for protecting critical infrastructure amidst rising threats in Europe.

The official launch featured a live demonstration attended by high-profile figures, showcasing the operational readiness of ONBERG's systems. These systems combine detection, guidance, and engagement into a scalable end-to-end solution. The venture seeks to provide KRITIS operators with a comprehensive defense mechanism, particularly vital given the increase in espionage and sabotage attempts via drones.

ONBERG's systems, designed for national security and various industrial applications, will initially target the German and Ukrainian markets. The venture positions Brandenburg as a hub for autonomous defense technology, with plans to expand sales, development, and manufacturing over time.
