Hep global Implements Solar Projects with Battery Systems near Munich

Güglingen-based hep global GmbH has successfully developed two solar projects with integrated battery storage systems in Ostallgäu and Unterallgäu districts, near Munich. The projects, named Buchloe (8.4 MWp) and Wiedergeltingen (3.7 MWp), are slated for completion by year-end, coordinated by ZaberSolar GmbH.

The projects are located 1.5 kilometers apart, favorably positioned between a highway and a railroad. The Buchloe site spans two districts, necessitating careful coordination with local authorities. The Buchloe solar park, spread over 8.7 hectares, features a storage system that enhances energy distribution and profitability, generating enough power for nearly 2,780 households annually.

The Wiedergeltingen project covers 4.5 hectares and incorporates a storage system to supply electricity to about 1,270 households. hep global emphasizes regional electricity integration, seeking local buyers early during development, as explained by Gábor Csanak, Director of PPA Origination EMEA.
