NorthC Schweiz Ltd Secures Long-term Lease at Hive Campus in Meyrin

HIAG Immobilien Holding AG has announced a significant long-term rental agreement with NorthC Schweiz Ltd for over 30 years. NorthC Schweiz Ltd, part of the NorthC Group, plans to build a data centre on the Hive campus in Meyrin, Geneva. The new centre will have an IT capacity of 4.5 MW and will operate on 100% green energy. This marks the sixth data centre for the NorthC Group in Switzerland, making it one of HIAG’s largest tenants.

The strategic location in Geneva, a key economic hub, supports growing digital service demands and potential collaboration with CERN. With a legally binding building permit, construction begins in early 2026, and the building, offering 5,700 m² of space, should be ready by 2027. The project aligns with HIAG's strategy of promoting technology-driven tenants in dynamic Swiss regions.
