Highlight Group Reports First Quarter 2025 Results

Highlight Communications AG has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2025. The group's consolidated sales reached CHF 79.9 million, a slight increase from CHF 78.7 million in the same quarter of the previous year. However, the company's EBIT showed a deeper loss, amounting to CHF -17.0 million compared to CHF -5.9 million previously.

The firm experienced a reduction in capitalized film production costs and other self-capitalized work, dropping by CHF 15.0 million. Despite a slight decrease in operating expenses by 2.9% to CHF 112.1 million, the financial metrics show a constrained performance overall.

Highlight's equity decreased to CHF 136.1 million by March 31, 2025, from CHF 151.9 million at the end of the previous year, reflecting a tighter equity ratio of 22.0%. The group's net loss further deepened, recording a consolidated net profit loss of CHF -18.6 million.
