Hillcrest Energy Advances into AI Datacenter Sector

Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd. has entered into a non-binding agreement with the AI Hub of Innovation (AHI) in Canada. This partnership aims to integrate Hillcrest's PCS1000 technology through a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) pilot at AHI's Alberta campus. Additionally, Hillcrest gains access to AHI's datacenter network.

Canada's reliance on foreign power conversion technology aligns with Natural Resources Canada's findings. Hillcrest's PCS1000, based on its proprietary Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology, could change that, keeping the technology's economic benefits within Canada.

The BESS pilot provides a practical environment for system testing and certification, while AHI's network offers significant commercial exposure. CleanPath Distribution Inc., Hillcrest’s Indigenous-led channel, is involved in this venture, underscoring commitments to Indigenous economic participation.
