Foxconn Unveils New 5-Year Sustainability Roadmap

Hon Hai Technology Group, known as Foxconn, has announced a five-year sustainability plan stretching to 2030. The roadmap focuses on clean energy, labor rights, supply chain ESG, and global initiatives. The group aims to bolster its competitiveness by implementing 34 actions across 21 categories, based on 2025 benchmarks.

By 2030, Foxconn targets a 30% greywater recycling rate and 75% renewable energy usage, with green electricity making up over 30%. The group seeks a 10% reduction in energy intensity. AI will feature in its sustainable tech goals, including expanding Lighthouse-standard factories. Supplier audits and local sourcing will enhance supply chain resilience.

Foxconn prioritizes employee health and safety, requiring full human rights risk assessments by 2030. It will apply NbS for ecological restoration globally. The firm intends to rank in the top 10% of ESG ratings, adhering to international frameworks.
