HKSTP and Würth Elektronik Forge Strategic Partnership to Boost Hong Kong's Tech Ecosystem

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has announced a three-year strategic partnership with Würth Elektronik, marking a significant development in Hong Kong's manufacturing sector. Würth Elektronik will introduce the first Engineering Service Programme at InnoPark, aiming to enhance the city's microelectronics capabilities. This collaboration underscores Hong Kong's ambition to become an international innovation hub by leveraging Würth's global network and technological expertise.

The partnership will provide around 100 startups and SMEs access to essential electronic components and expert consultation, thereby expediting product development from research to pilot production. Würth Elektronik plans to offer skills training and industry seminars to local talent, aligning with the government's strategy to foster tech-driven industries.

This initiative will potentially catalyze Hong Kong's progress in becoming a leader in advanced manufacturing and new industrialisation. Würth Elektronik's involvement reinforces HKSTP's efforts in supporting over 270 microelectronics companies, ultimately contributing to economic growth and innovation in the region.
