The "Liberalities - Large Transmission" Barometer reveals opportunities for the non-profit sector

On June 24, 2026, Hopening, a fundraising specialist, published its first "Gifts - Large-Scale Transfers" Barometer. Conducted in partnership with Goodangel Media and OpinionWay, the study highlights unprecedented financial potential for the non-profit sector. Indeed, 21% of French people are considering making gifts to charities or foundations. This trend, driven by the aging of the baby boomers, requires organizations to adapt their strategies to attract these donations.

Despite considering charitable giving as early as age 47, 47% of French people still postpone the decision until after age 68. Charities must therefore encourage this philanthropic approach. Awareness campaigns are progressing, but misconceptions persist, hindering access to charitable giving.
