HOPIUM improves its fuel cell with the S++® plate
On June 17, 2025, HOPIUM, a company specializing in hydrogen-powered electric propulsion, announced positive results for the integration of the S++® plate into its fuel cell technology. This advancement aims to decarbonize heavy-duty transportation by increasing the durability, reliability, and performance of its fuel cells.
The tests carried out confirmed the announced performance, including an optimization of the essential regulation parameters. The S++® plate allowed for better homogeneity of the electrical current production and an improvement in current collection without increasing the total mass of the system.
This progress marks a step towards the industrialization of the technology, with the aim of meeting the growing energy and environmental requirements of the heavy transport sector.
