HOYA BIT Achieves Carbon-Neutral Certification

HOYA BIT, a Taiwan-based cryptocurrency exchange, has become the world's first to receive the BSI ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality certification. The certification was presented in person by Bryn Sutton, Vice President of BSI, and Aiman Ali, Global Head of Sustainability, highlighting the achievement's significance.

Integrating carbon governance and third-party auditing into its operations, HOYA BIT aims to establish a reliable framework for the digital asset industry. The BSI certification, recognized by global leaders like Microsoft and Google, requires comprehensive carbon emission disclosure and reduction pathways.

Founder Zoe Peng emphasized the importance of governance and transparency in building industry trust. HOYA BIT plans to enhance carbon disclosure and enable user participation in carbon reduction efforts.
