HRS and Baker Hughes conclude an agreement to boost hydrogen
On August 3, 2026, HRS, a European leader in hydrogen refueling stations, announced a strategic partnership with Baker Hughes. The two companies will combine their expertise to develop integrated hydrogen solutions targeting the mobility and industrial sectors. This three-year partnership aims to meet the growing demand for hydrogen infrastructure in Europe and beyond.
HRS will focus on hydrogen storage and distribution systems, while Baker Hughes will contribute its compression technologies, including the VerHy550 compressor. This agreement covers the creation of production centers, filling and refueling stations, and storage facilities.
The partners aim to optimize the efficiency and profitability of infrastructure. They are also interested in joint R&D projects, supported by European funding programs. This non-exclusive collaboration allows companies to work together while maintaining their commercial independence.
