Idaho Strategic Resources Reports High-Grade Gold at Golden Chest Mine
Idaho Strategic Resources has announced promising drill results from the Red Star area of the Golden Chest Mine. Notably, drill hole GC 24-276 yielded 5.13 grams of gold per tonne over 13.5 meters. This includes a section with 14.72 grams per tonne over 2.3 meters, demonstrating the area's rich mineralization potential.
The Red Star zone, initially discovered in October 2024, presents broad zones of mineralization with high-grade intercepts. The company has prioritized this area due to its proximity to existing operations. New underground drill stations at the 941-level of the mine provide better drill orientations, thus enhancing exploration efforts.
John Swallow, President and CEO of Idaho Strategic, highlighted the unique mineralization pattern of the Red Star region. He emphasized the potential for high productivity mining methods and framed the drill program as part of a broader exploration strategy.
