IDI acquires a majority stake in the Belgian IE group

On June 12, 2025, IDI announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Belgian IE Group, a leading manufacturer of radar equipment and provider of advanced technology services. This acquisition is part of a secondary LBO in collaboration with IE's management team.

Founded in 1983, the IE Group is an integrated Belgian company specializing in radar systems. Providing solutions to major clients such as Eurocontrol, Raytheon, and Thales, IE allocates 50% of its revenue to civil markets and 50% to defense applications.

With a turnover of over €60 million and nearly 400 employees, the group continues to strengthen its position through innovations such as NGSP and NORA, and is pursuing international growth through targeted acquisitions. IDI's commitment supports its expansion in a market seeking secure and reliable solutions.
