INDUS Acquires Italian Decontamination Specialist AMIRA

INDUS Holding AG has announced the acquisition of AMIRA S.r.l., an Italian specialist in biodecontamination solutions using vaporized hydrogen peroxide. This acquisition enhances INDUS' Engineering segment and expands its process technology field through MBRAUN, one of its subsidiaries. AMIRA, located in Triuggio, Italy, brings over 20 years of experience in sterilization and generates more than EUR 7 million in annual revenue.

AMIRA's decontamination technologies cater to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors. This acquisition offers INDUS access to high-growth industries, strengthening its market presence in Southern Europe. The deal is still subject to approval by Italian authorities.

MBRAUN aims to leverage AMIRA's expertise to develop new products and enhance project planning synergies. This move aligns with INDUS' strategy to foster international expansion, as evidenced by their recent acquisitions, including METFAB in the United States.
