Intuitive Expands da Vinci SP Indication in Europe

Intuitive has announced a CE mark approval for transvaginal gynecologic procedures using the da Vinci SP (Single Port) system in Europe. This marks a world-first indication for the system, extending its application beyond existing endoscopic and surgical procedures.

The da Vinci SP system allows surgeons to work through a single incision or natural orifice, improving visualization and precision while minimizing tissue disruption.
