Islamic University of Madinah Expands Global Influence Through Cultural Diversity

The Islamic University of Madinah, located in Saudi Arabia, has made significant strides in strengthening its global presence. Hosting the 14th "Cultures and Peoples Festival," the university transformed into a global hub, featuring participants from over 90 countries and showcasing more than 400 cultural activities.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote understanding and connectivity among students from diverse backgrounds. The "Athar" project highlights the journeys of graduates worldwide, with data showing that 62% of students are first-generation higher education attendees. The university admitted students from 127 nationalities, demonstrating its extensive reach.

Beyond academia, the university emphasizes students' intellectual and professional growth, preparing them for impactful roles in their home countries. Graduates have emerged as leaders, promoting knowledge transfer and dialogue, especially in non-Muslim nations. The festival underscored this mission, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives.
