BeNEX Selects IVU.rail for Enhanced Operational Planning

BeNEX GmbH has chosen IVU.rail, from IVU Traffic Technologies AG, as its core IT solution for operational planning in rail transport. This integrated system aims to streamline planning and scheduling of vehicles, personnel, and train paths, reducing reliance on manual processes. As a leading private operator in German local rail passenger transport, with a market share of 7%, BeNEX seeks to replace its legacy systems with this advanced technology.

IVU.rail incorporates optimisation components and adheres to German collective agreement rules, automating pivotal planning steps. A key feature is its TAP-TSI-compliant train path management, enabling direct order and management from the planning phase. Operational deployment will begin this year at Ostdeutsche Eisenbahngesellschaft and agilis Verkehrsgesellschaft.
