Jaguar Mining Reports High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Pilar Mine
Jaguar Mining Inc. has announced significant high-grade gold discoveries at the BA zone within its Pilar mine in Brazil. This update follows additional diamond drilling efforts, reinforcing the presence of valuable gold deposits extending deep into the mine.
The most notable finding came from drill hole PPL1174, revealing an intercept of 12.80 g/t gold over 25 meters, with a portion showing 27.21 g/t over 7 meters. Additional drill results indicate a consistent presence of high-grade mineralization, encouraging further exploration.
Drilling covered 2,328 meters between Levels 16 and 20, yielding remarkable results, including 34.43 g/t over 2.3 meters in hole FSB1212.
Exploration Manager Armando Massucatto noted the results confirm the steady continuity of mineralization deep within the Iron Quadrangle, supporting future resource growth for the Pilar mine.
CEO Luis Albano Tondo emphasized the BA zone's pivotal role, expected to contribute 50% of Pilar's production.
