Jaguar Mining Updates Geologic Interpretation at Chamé Gold Target in Brazil

Jaguar Mining Inc. has announced an update on the exploration of its Chamé gold target, part of the CPA Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Located 3 km from the Santa Isabel Mine, Chamé's exploration aims to delineate and expand gold mineralization. Jaguar has completed five diamond drill holes, with two initial assays indicating widespread gold presence, but not matching previous higher-grade trench results.

The company identified the need for advanced sampling techniques due to potential erratic gold formations. Further studies on drill holes FCM003 and FCM004 are set to refine geological models. Historical data will be verified by executing twin holes targeting the Santa Isabel trend. Jaguar plans additional exploration, including 1,000 meters of drilling to bridge an identified 840-meter gap, enhancing their understanding of the broader mineralized trend between Chamé and Santa Isabel.
