Brno Showcases Space Expertise at Major European Expo

The Brno region in the Czech Republic is gaining recognition as a significant hub for space technology. Once known for precision engineering, the area now boasts over 30 companies in the satellite and space sectors, employing more than 400 specialists. This growth is supported by JIC's business incubator, ESA BIC, which helps startups find funding.

At the Space Tech Expo Europe in Bremen, the Brno Space Cluster is highlighting its capabilities. Companies such as TRL Space, Zaitra, Inpraise Systems, and Groundcom are set to present innovations including satellite deployers, edge computing platforms, and ground station services.

The collaboration within the Brno Space Cluster extends into projects like the EnVision mission to Venus, where local companies develop electronics for the European Space Agency. This underlines Brno's full spectrum capabilities in the space industry.
