Karbon-X Partners with REGID for Kenya BioHub Evaluation

Karbon-X Corp., a climate solutions company, has announced a partnership with REGID International to assess the Kenya BioHub Initiative. This program aims to restore degraded land, produce sustainable biomass, and aid in Kenya's industrial decarbonization. The collaboration aligns with Karbon-X's strategy to expand its global climate project pipeline.

The initiative includes sustainable agroforestry and renewable biomass production to reduce fossil fuel reliance. It also aims to improve soil health, boost energy security, create jobs, and support environmental resilience. Karbon-X will evaluate the project's technical and regulatory feasibility, aiming for high-quality carbon credits that support long-term investments.

Karbon-X CEO Chad Clovis emphasized the importance of early engagement with promising climate opportunities to build a high-quality project portfolio. Daniel James Okoth of REGID highlighted the partnership's potential to create socioeconomic benefits and support sustainable rural livelihoods.
