Karlsberg Brauerei Reports H1 2025 Financial Results

Karlsberg Brauerei GmbH has released its financial figures for the first half of 2025. Despite a noticeable decline in the overall German beer market, the company's domestic brands, particularly Karlsberg and MiXery, showed steady performance. The Karlsberg brand saw an increase in market share and revenue was nearly level with last year. Non-alcoholic segments grew by 5.9%, with Karlsberg Grapefruit Alkoholfrei recording a 23.6% rise.

However, the MiXery brand experienced a 7.0% drop in revenue. Overall, the gross revenue for the company fell by 4.5% to EUR 73.5 million, with domestic revenues decreasing by 2.7%. International revenues saw a sharper decline of 12.9%. Key financial measures such as adjusted EBITDA and adjusted EBIT also showed reductions from the previous year.

Consequently, Karlsberg has adjusted its annual forecast for 2025, now anticipating a slight revenue decline and a moderate drop in EBITDA. The interim report highlights challenges like declining exports and rising costs affecting earnings.
