KBC Securities and Van Lanschot Kempen Form Joint Venture in Equities
KBC Securities and Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Banking have announced plans for a joint venture in equities, establishing a leading broker in the Benelux and a pan-European specialist in real estate and life sciences. The venture will enhance stock coverage, liquidity, and placing power for their clients. Set for operations in Q4 2026, regulatory approval is awaited.
The joint venture, equally owned, will operate under its own license. Key activities, including equity research, sales, and trading, will be combined. The venture aims to expand investor access to approximately 230 stocks with a focus on the Benelux and European real estate and life sciences companies.
Joining forces, KBC Securities and Van Lanschot Kempen anticipate increased liquidity and broader investor coverage, enhancing client value with a scalable platform for potential future growth.
