EcoGraf Secures First Australian Patent for HFfree® Technology

EcoGraf Limited has announced the granting of an Australian patent for its EcoGraf HFfree® purification technology. This marks the first original patent under the “Patent Family 1” series, cementing protection for 20 years, until 2041. The patent follows the company's recent announcement of a cost-reduction breakthrough in its purification process.

The Australian patent ensures coverage for the HFfree® technology's application in creating battery anode material, high purity graphite products, and recycling lithium-ion battery anodes. This strategic protection aligns with EcoGraf's plan to develop vertically integrated purification facilities in multiple global markets.

The patent grant intensifies EcoGraf’s commercial efforts, supported by the Australian government's Critical Minerals Development Program. Amid increasing interest from potential customers, the company aims to establish global purification facilities to meet the rising demand for eco-friendly battery materials.
