KION Starts 2026 Strong with Increased Order Intake
KION Group AG reported a strong start to 2026, with significant increases in order intake and profitability, despite geopolitical uncertainties. Order intake surged to €2.985 billion, up from €2.706 billion in Q1 2025. Revenue was stable at €2.771 billion, and adjusted EBIT rose to €205.2 million, with an improved margin of 7.4%.
The Industrial Trucks & Services segment saw a 4.2% rise in orders, driven by growth in counterbalance trucks and warehouse equipment. Intelligent Automation Solutions orders increased by 25.9%, backed by strong e-commerce demand. Revenue in this segment grew by 11.7% to €768.1 million.
KION also announced a strategic investment in ZIKOO Robotics, enhancing its portfolio in warehouse automation. Despite geopolitical tensions, KION confirmed its 2026 outlook, with measures in place to mitigate cost impacts.
