KNDS Partners with AERIX SYSTEMS for Drone Interception Development
KNDS and AERIX SYSTEMS have announced a strategic partnership to develop the AXS-μ1 interceptor drone. This collaboration aims to enhance the TARGAS DSP10 system, part of KNDS's counter-drone ecosystem. The TARGAS DSP10 combines electronic warfare with physical interception, providing scalable, close-in protection for military forces.
The AXS-μ1 drone, developed by AERIX SYSTEMS, is designed for autonomous physical neutralization using direct impact. It targets FPV drones, bolstering TARGAS's aerial interception capabilities. KNDS will support the drone's maturation, with production slated for 2027.
This partnership merges KNDS's mission solution expertise with AERIX's aerial robotics, expediting the development of an advanced interception solution for ground forces' operational needs.
