KNDS Partners with WB GROUP for 105mm Artillery Systems in Poland

At the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2026, KNDS signed a Letter of Intent with the Polish WB GROUP. This agreement involves integrating KNDS's 105mm artillery systems with TOPAZ fire control into the Polish Armed Forces. The collaboration strengthens European defense ties and enhances Poland’s defense capabilities.

The 105 LG artillery piece is notably light, weighing just 1,650 kg. This design enables easy air transportation and quick deployment in challenging environments. It boasts a range of up to 17 km and a high rate of fire, making it suitable for rapid military operations. The project aims to fully integrate Polish technologies, improving the operational readiness of Poland’s military forces.

Future plans include localizing the production of long-range ERG3 ammunition in Poland. KNDS's history with the Polish defense sector is longstanding, having contributed to the maintenance of Leopard 2 tanks and establishing local production of artillery shells.
