Knorr-Bremse Reports Steady Start to 2025
Knorr-Bremse AG has reported a robust start to the 2025 fiscal year, driven particularly by its Rail Vehicle Systems division. The order intake soared to €2.4 billion, accompanied by an order book increase to €7.4 billion. Despite challenging conditions, revenues remained stable at approximately €2 billion.
Operating EBIT held firm at €236 million, with a consistent margin of 12.1%. Notably, free cash flow experienced a significant rise, reaching €15 million, reflecting operational efficiency and working capital optimization.
CEO Marc Llistosella highlighted the resilience of the Commercial Vehicle Systems division and ongoing strategic initiatives, including the BOOST strategy and KB Signaling integration. CFO Frank Weber noted the potential positive impact of Germany's economic stimulus and praised the company's solid financial standing.
