Kontron AG Reports Preliminary Financial Results for 2025

Kontron AG, a leader in IoT technology, has released its preliminary financial figures for the first nine months of 2025 amid concerns over a drop in its share price. The company reported revenues of EUR 1,182 million, slightly down from EUR 1,208 million the previous year, factoring in the discontinuation of its COM business. EBITDA rose by 37% to EUR 194 million, helped by a one-off effect of EUR 46 million due to the deconsolidation of the COM business, with operating EBITDA at EUR 148 million.

Despite the impact of the business shift, Kontron forecasts a full-year revenue of EUR 1.7 billion, slightly below the previous estimate. EBITDA expectations remain stable at around EUR 270 million, with EUR 220 million from operating activities. CEO Hannes Niederhauser cited strong order intake in sectors such as railway, defense, aerospace, and AI. Full results will be released on November 5, 2025.
