Holcim Reports Strong Start in 2026

Holcim has kicked off the year with promising financial results. The company's net sales grew organically by 3.9% to CHF 3,520 million. Recurring EBIT also saw an organic increase of 8.3%, reaching CHF 431 million. These figures illustrate Holcim's robust performance, despite a 4.8% dip in overall net sales compared to the previous year.

The company's M&A momentum continued, completing five transactions in Q1. Notable acquisitions include Cementos Pacasmayo in Peru and operations in Colombia. These moves are set to strengthen Holcim's presence in the Latin America region.

Holcim's sustainable solutions saw increased demand, with significant growth in sales of low-carbon products like ECOPact and ECOPlanet. This sustainability focus is complemented by Holcim's commitment to harnessing AI, with 38 initiatives forecasted to generate CHF 200 million in recurring EBIT by 2028.
