Lahontan Gold Begins Drilling at Santa Fe Mine
Lahontan Gold Corp has deployed a reverse-circulation drill rig to its Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada. The Phase One drilling will initially target the Slab area, moving to BLM-administered land upon receiving necessary approvals. CEO Kimberly Ann stated that the aim is to expand the known gold and silver resources and enhance the inventory of potentially minable precious metals at Santa Fe. The drilling will also provide material for metallurgical testing, with first assay results expected in four to six weeks. The Santa Fe Mine has significant past production and substantial current mineral resources.
