Lahontan Gold Corp Submits Notice for Expanded Drilling at Santa Fe
Lahontan Gold Corp., a mining exploration firm, has announced the submission of an amended Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Federal Bureau of Land Management to allow for additional drilling at its Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada's Walker Lane gold belt. This amendment will enable the drilling of eight sites, enhancing flexibility for the company's 2025 exploration program.
Company President Kimberly Ann expressed eagerness to start this drilling initiative, targeting specific sites within the Slab and York resource areas for geological data acquisition and metallurgical testing. Following BLM approval, mobilization of drilling equipment is anticipated shortly.
The Santa Fe Mine has significant past gold and silver production and continues to be a focal point of Lahontan's development plans, as they aim to advance towards production and evaluate the site's economic potential further.
