Lara Exploration Launches Extensive Drilling Program at Planalto Project
Lara Exploration Ltd. has commenced a comprehensive 14,000-meter drilling program at its Planalto Project in Brazil. The initiative aims to validate the geological-mineralization models from recent evaluations. With seven diamond drill rigs in operation, the program focuses on the Homestead-Cupuzeiro and Silica Cap trends.
In Homestead-Cupuzeiro, 29 holes have been drilled, confirming a wide zone of chalcopyrite mineralization. Infill drilling is planned to refine this high-grade copper zone. At Silica Cap, drilling seeks to bolster geological models, revealing new zones of mineralization along volcanic contacts.
The Atlantica project, adjacent to Silica Cap, awaits drilling permits. This program marks a significant step in resource classification, with ambitions to convert inferred mineral resources to indicated status.
