Lenzing AG Appoints Georg Kasperkovitz as COO

Lenzing AG has announced the appointment of Georg Kasperkovitz to its Managing Board as Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective June 1, 2025. With over 15 years of experience across Europe, North America, and Asia, Kasperkovitz brings valuable expertise to Lenzing's fiber production management and ongoing performance programs.

As COO, he will oversee Lenzing's fiber production sites and drive operational cost excellence. His previous roles include CEO positions at Mondi plc and Rail Cargo Austria AG, and a partnership at McKinsey. He holds a mechanical engineering degree and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

The appointment comes amid Lenzing's continuous earnings growth despite a challenging market. The company focuses on enhancing profitability and competitiveness, with Kasperkovitz expected to contribute significantly to these goals.
