Linde Expands Industrial Gas Supply to Tata Steel in India

Linde has announced the expansion of its industrial gases supply to Tata Steel at Kalinganagar, Odisha, India. This is part of a long-term agreement aimed at enhancing Tata Steel's production capacity. Linde has doubled its on-site capacity through the acquisition of two air separation units (ASUs), now delivering oxygen, nitrogen, and argon for iron and steelmaking.

The expanded capacity will enable Tata Steel to boost its annual steel production from three to eight million tons. Linde's total capacity in the region has now surpassed seven thousand tons of oxygen per day. The additional ASUs will help meet the regional demand for industrial gases.
