Lithium South Completes Sale of Hombre Muerto North Project
Lithium South Development Corporation has finalized the sale of its subsidiary, NRG Metals Argentina S.A., which owns the Hombre Muerto North Lithium property in Salta Province, Argentina. This sale, agreed upon with POSCO Argentina S.A.U. and Posco Holdings Inc., signifies a major step for the company. A formal ceremony was held in Buenos Aires to mark the closure.
CEO Adrian F. C. Hobkirk expressed congratulations to POSCO and wished success for their operation at Hombre Muerto Salar. Further information regarding the cash consideration payout is expected shortly. Only registered shareholders need to submit a letter of transmittal to receive their cash, while others will receive it via intermediaries.
Lithium South is seeking approval to delist its shares from the TSX Venture Exchange and intends to stop being a reporting issuer soon. These moves come as part of its broader strategic adjustments following the transaction.
