Lonza Board Undergoes Key Changes

Lonza Group AG has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors. Sami Atiya, noted for his expertise in healthcare and modern technologies, is nominated as an Independent Member. His election will be proposed at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. Upon election, Sami will join the Strategy and Innovation Committee, contributing his experience from ABB and Siemens.

Claudia Süssmuth-Dyckerhoff, also newly nominated, will assume roles as Vice-Chair and serve on both the Remuneration and Strategy and Innovation Committees. Her appointment aligns with Lonza's strategic succession planning.

Departing the board are Jürgen Steinemann and Barbara Richmond, who have reached their tenure limits, and Roger Nitsch, who will focus on his entrepreneurial efforts. Chairman Jean-Marc Huët extended gratitude for their service.
