Mars Appoints Marc Carena as Global Petcare President

Mars, Incorporated has announced Marc Carena as the new Global President of its $30 billion Petcare division. Carena, previously Regional President for Mars Snacking in Europe and Central Asia, will assume his new role in January 2026. His promotion follows notable achievements in leading operations across 55 markets.

Carena's experience spans key roles in companies like McDonald's, Metro Group, and Nestlé, offering extensive knowledge in retail and FMCG sectors. Mars CEO Poul Weihrauch emphasized Carena's commitment to driving customer-focused results and ambitious change.

Carena succeeds Loïc Moutault, a veteran of Mars with over 30 years of service. Mars Petcare, which supports over 100,000 associates globally, remains a leading entity in pet nutrition and veterinary care.
