Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG Expands Management Board
On August 27, 2026, Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG announced the appointment of Andreas Koppitz and Alexander Loimayr to its Management Board, effective September 1, 2026. These appointments extend the board to five members as part of a strategic response to the increasing complexity and demands facing the company.
Andreas Koppitz, with over 20 years of leadership experience, has successfully led the Pharma & Healthcare Packaging division since 2022. Meanwhile, Alexander Loimayr, who joined the Board & Paper division as CFO and became its head in mid-2025, also brings substantial industry expertise.
The expansions aim to strengthen the leadership structure of MM Group, enabling it to better tackle forthcoming challenges. Wolfgang Eder, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, praised the executives for their outstanding contributions and expects them to drive growth and stability.
