Rhovica Neuroimaging Secures CHF 2.3M to Advance SoNav™ Device

Rhovica Neuroimaging AG, a Swiss MedTech start-up, has successfully raised CHF 2.3 million (EUR 2.5 million) in financing. This funding round, led by M2care and with contributions from Kickfund, Valuemaker, and several business angels, aims to accelerate the development of SoNav™, a neurosurgical navigation device.

The SoNav™ system offers real-time, bedside navigation for the placement of extraventricular drainage (EVD) catheters in emergency situations. This improves safety and accuracy, addressing a critical need in emergency neurosurgery where procedures are typically performed without direct visualization.

Carsten Laue of M2care has joined Rhovica's Board of Directors, bringing expertise in MedTech strategy. The funds and strategic support will propel SoNav™ towards clinical adoption. The neurosurgical device market is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, positioning Rhovica for potential growth.
