METLEN and PETRONAS Seal LNG Supply Agreement for Southeast Europe

On September 14, 2026, METLEN and PETRONAS, through PETCO Trading (UK) Limited, announced a significant LNG supply agreement aimed at strengthening energy security in Southeast Europe. Under this new Sale and Purchase Agreement, PETRONAS will supply 6 LNG cargoes annually to Greece from its Atlantic portfolio, totaling approximately 0.6 billion cubic meters per year over five years starting in 2027.

This strategic agreement aligns with METLEN's objective to diversify its LNG sources, ensuring greater procurement flexibility and security for Greece and the surrounding region. Simultaneously, it enhances Greece's status as a key energy hub in the area.
