AKWEL Reports 18.7% Revenue Decline in H1 2026

In Champfromier, AKWEL, a systems equipment manufacturer for the automotive and truck industries, announced a revenue drop of 18.7% for the first half of 2026, totaling €415.0 million. This decline was compared to the first half of 2025. The net cash position stood at €98.1 million.

The second quarter saw a revenue decrease of 18.3%, with the decline at 17.6% when adjusted for constant scope and exchange rates. The Americas performed relatively better, with a revenue drop of 5.6% to €136.1 million, whereas the EMEA region reported a steep 24.5% decline, totaling €264.3 million.

Revenue from Products and Functions was down 18.7%, while the Tools business decreased by 7.6%. The company anticipates a further revenue downturn of 12% to 15% for the entire 2026 financial year.
