Michter's Distillery Unveils Limited 2025 Edition Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey
Michter's Distillery has announced the release of the 2025 Edition of its Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey, set for February 2026. This marks only the fifth release of this exceptional whiskey. A mere 315 bottles will be distributed globally, each retailing at $6,000 within the United States.
This edition is a blend from seven carefully selected barrels, including four Kentucky Straight Rye and three Kentucky Straight Bourbon barrels. The whiskey features an alcohol proof of 115.2 and incorporates whiskeys aged from over 12 to 30 years, resulting in a rare depth of flavors.
Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson and Master Distiller Dan McKee have crafted this release, valuing the unique characteristics of each whiskey while achieving a harmonious blend. The 2025 Celebration echoes the traditional quality synonymous with Michter's legacy.
