Marathon Des Sables Selects Jordan for 2025 Edition

The Marathon Des Sables will once again take place in Jordan, cementing its status as a travel destination for adventure seekers. Scheduled from November 1 to 8, 2025, the event is set against the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Rum. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Jordan will host the ultramarathon, which attracts 650 runners from around the world.

Minister of Tourism, Lina Annab, and MDS CEO, Cyrilie Gauthier, emphasized Jordan's ideal setting for such an event, highlighting its growth in adventure tourism.
