Mobilezone Expands with Acquisition of Apfelkiste and MAREIN

Mobilezone Holding AG announced its acquisition of the Swiss e-commerce platform Apfelkiste.ch and retail branding specialist MAREIN. The strategic move aims to bolster Mobilezone's presence in Switzerland and enhance its long-term profitability through increased online and physical retail integration.

The transaction, valued at approximately CHF 180 million, will be completed by June 2026. Apfelkiste, known for smartphone accessories and lifestyle products, and MAREIN, specializing in branding and sourcing, generated a combined revenue of over CHF 100 million in 2025.

Operational management will remain with existing directors, ensuring continuity. The acquisition aligns with Mobilezone's strategy to expand business in Switzerland, expecting additional EBITDA-level synergies from 2027 onwards.

The deal reflects Mobilezone's commitment to strengthening its service offering and creating a seamless omnichannel experience. The synergy with Apfelkiste offers growth potential, enhancing customer experience and profitability.
